Again you're tooling not designing... If you read the links provided you'd actually have a very good amount of information about the process of logo design.

From nearly a decade's worth of experience you're not going to get a great concept by playing around with Photoshop or Illustrator for 30 minutes. You'd be much more productive finding some logos you like, defining what makes them work, using some of the ideas then creating 2 or 3 sketches for something to either take to a designer or put into Illustrator.

When I design a logo for a client my time is usually 70% research, 20% design via my good ol' pencil and 10% digitalising it.

Instead you're jumping into the software with no concise structure for developing a concept or ideas of font that would make the concept really pop. Now to reinforce the point a logo doesn't need to be complex rather a simple idea with a nice type and good formatting is all you need, these are simple and they work.

IMHO you'd be better doing a "PB FILMS" two lines (bluetooth did a really nice version of this idea), stacked nicely in a few variants of suggested fonts, you really can't go wrong with a nicely constructed San Serif. Again keep it simple.
