And I suppose you would also recommend that I carry my iPhone in a small ZipLock bag in the shower too. The point is that you can't compare that device to the Bose SoundDock Portable if it's not truly portable. The whole purpose of the SoundDock Portable is for you to be able to carry with you a sound system that is small and convenient without sacrificing sound quality.

Sorry to go off topic, but i searched and didnt find much info on it but.. the Ipod Hi-Fi that is on the apple site (maybe discontinued) is it any good?

It may be possible for me to get a new one from someone who has one they have never opened or used apparently, but they want a fair buck for it and I don't know if it is worth it? The person who has it says it is highly sought after?? Is this true, or just a sales pitch? Also would this not be able to charge the 2G touch same as the original Bose SD?
