The X and X+ will probably feature 4gb RAM this year. 3gb in the LCD model is expected. For me, I would just go with the regular 2018 X to save $ and still upgrade somehow. If not, I’ll go 2017 X or 2018 LCD model. Hopefully the weak demand for the 2017 X means aggressive carrier deals at launch. My 8+ can be easily dispatched in a deal. I don’t mind paying $300-400 for the 2018 X if it means trading in my 8+.
