I felt like the classic buckle of all the bands was the least innovative. And for the price of it, felt like you were paying for a standard watch bank.

I wouldn't get a sport band except as a backup for going to the gym and stuff.

I didn't care for the leather loop because it does come all the way out and didn't think it was that great.

I like the modern buckle but it doesn't come in the 42, which is a bummer because that is a bank that once you set the size you like, there's no work involved.

I somewhat liked the milanese but my problem is that I like my watch a little loose on my wrist, and with the milanese or leather loop every time you put it on you have to fiddle with it to get the sizing right if you don't wrap it fairly tight, and I don't.

My favorite by far is the link, but then my last several watches have all been links and I like the weight of it. Gives me the opportunity to set the size I want and just put it on. But of course it is the furthest out in shipping the most $$.

I have had 2 try on appointments to test them out, but have decided to wait and decide which one I really want, especially if I end up spending $1000.

When I went for my try-on, I found the modern buckle to be very tricky to fit together so that the magnets would lock together properly. It was not the smooth experience I was expecting. The leather felt stiff and papery, too, which made it challenging to bring the ends together. Still, once it's in stock I am going to consider it as my dress up band. I have a black sport band at the moment. That took a bit of practice to learn to put on gracefully, too.

I found the modern strap papery also, and I didn't like how thin the leather was. It didn't feel like it would hold up over time as a daily band. I could see it as a dress band, but I'm pretty happy with my classic strap so I doubt I'll get a modern band (unless they come out with more colors - I'd be into a bright pink or a red band).
