I think it's more in the line of: With all the betas that were already released, why was iOS 13 one of the least 'ready' OS' released?
Fair enough.
Guess he did not have much experience regarding iOS 8 beta, iOS 7 beta (claimed by some older members) and iOS 11 beta. Not that important tho.

iOS 7 beta

Never a truer statement said.
But......
Most of the problems being experienced by those in this forum even exist in the latest release version. Mail, reminders, notes, syncing, notifications, cell disconnects, the list goes on and on. I for one am using 13.3.1 b1 because I was hoping upon hope that my experience would at last somewhat improve. But alas that was not to be. Again.
It's one thing to be an Apple fanboy (which I profess I am), but even my patience is running thin with my shiny iPhone 11 Pro and iOS 13, what with all these customer facing bugs still remaining.
I agree. Bugs carrying over from Beta to Public release and bugs this late in the life of the OS are unacceptable. iOS 14 will be in beta before we know it and there are still significant bugs in IOS 13. While prices continue to go up, the hardware is tarnished by the bugs in the firmware and software.

With the rumour of allegedly port less phone coming in, I can’t imagine how disastrous/catastrophic the situation might be when iOS freezes or malfunction.

NO ONE FORCED YOU TO INSTALL A BETA

You understand its a .1.1 release with no change log. So there was nothing significant enough for Apple to even mention.

Blaming the user is the Apple sheep mentality. This beta has more or less bugs than the release version

I’m just waiting to apple fix the issues about apps not loading in background
I wish. Apple fixed it somewhat.
When I find issues trying to use data from one app to the next or a Safari tab to another tab or app and they are background closed ... We need a fix, not band-aid.

Just a random thought...no tech experience whatsoever here...but could that issue be linked with the battery drain issue so many people, including myself, have been experiencing? Again just a random thought from someone with no coding or tech experience, don’t burn me on the stake please!

March has been the sweet spot for years on both sides of the isle. Yearly releases has been insane. New phones: new OS = perfect storm too.

The thing i don't understand: Why did Apple release a beta for a bugfix update? They do both developer and public betas for major and minor updates (e.g: Major = 13.0, Minor = 13.1), but not for bugfix ones like 13.3.1.

If iOS 13 is bad, can you imagine iOS 14 being a complete redesign and major buggy mess like iOS 7 was? This time around would be twice as bad.

It would probably break things but i kinda want a redesign. It has been a long time since iOS 7 was released and 7 and 13 do look similar.

First three months, 9 updates, is horrible track record and sign that it has been badly managed. They even admit that.

How do you do serious testing for a new line of phones when all you have are first production prototypes!

I remember iOS 12 was supposed to be an overhaul but they put off features to focus on stability.

I do want a redesign cause I’m tired of the look now but I have my doubts they’ll make 14 a redesign due to the 13 mess.

Plus they like to make tiny changes year after year so they don’t go too fast and run out of ideas. The only thing that changed with iOS is dark mode. iPad, different story.

My iPhone is still indexing after 3 months and with 2 update releases addressing to fix the issue and they can’t get it right!
