I found this on digg. (hopefully it isn't a repost)

"Miramar High School had the largest number of iBooks in this 1 to 1 installation. We configured, installed and delivered close to 3,000 systems in less than 3 days. Not sure if it is a new Apple record, but we're pretty confident it is.
[Images were taken using my camera phone. I apologise for the poor quality."

A high school? what the hell? Spoiled bitches, all of them.
You'll find out that the school's average, on the Broward County website is a D. Its also one of the poorest areas, and they think it will boost performance,/

^^Thanks Captain Obvious. :p

What's with all the American flags? Is the geography knowledge of the average American so poor that they actually need a reminder as to where they are at the moment?

Seems so.
That is a lot of iBooks. Can't stop drooling. Seriously. Can't stop.

Jeez, that is impressive.

That's awesome, but it can't possibly be good for all those iBooks to be stacked on each other like that...not that they really have a choice I guess. That's just a lot of weight sitting on the screens of the ones at the bottom.

Neat pics.

Thanks for sharing.

I bet if all those lurvely iBooks were hooked up, they maybe, just maybe able to touch the power of MacBook Pro.

I bet they got a really good deal....not just for buying so many, but because Apple wants to get rid of the PPC to get the Intel out ;)

Those pictures were taken a while ago. The box shows the Panther background on them; they must be the 1.2GHz version, or 1GHz.

Woops...well new iBooks/MacBooks anyway...hehe;)

omg, I would have not thrown away all those boxes but instead cut up the boxes and make an iBook collage for the libaray.

I think it would have totally sucked to do that.

(Unless I was getting $15/hr)

looking at his blog and personal info I would imagine he was getting a whole heap more than that. ;)
