Downloaded the app--a couple things:

I had mentioned your ad-blocking before--I tested it and it only stripped a couple of the ads from the NYT website, which has lots of them ( w w w . n y t . c o m ). I would use that site as a guide to improve your ad-blocking. Keep adding servers/filter lists until most of their ads/banners are gone.

Also, which plugin is most optimal for viewing flash on a website, the 'Clip Converter' or 'iTransmogrify?' They both seem to do the same thing...

Hi leog,
Thanks for grabbing our product.

Thanks for your feedback of Ad-Blocker, it will help us in making it better :).

Clip Converter and iTransmogrify are two very different plugins.

While iTransmogrify converts a youtube or supported site embedded flash link to embedded MP4 link if it exists on that specific site.

Clip Converter actually downloads the flash clip, converts them to MP4 and presents them to you. That's why Clip Converter is better than iTransmogrify. Do note that Clip Converter supports only these websites : YouTube (HQ and HD), Google Video, Sevenload, MySpace, Dailymotion (HQ), Vimeo (HQ), Metacafe, MyVideo, YouPorn, *******, Veoh.

Cheers,

Hi Leog,
We just tried nyt.com and 360 Browser was able to block all of the ads. Please let us know the specific ads which are creating problems / not blocking for you. In the meanwhile, we will continue testing.

Ok, cool, thanks for the flash plugin info--makes sense.

As for the ad-blocking, yesterday you guys missed a Tiffany's Jewelry ad, a huge banner. Just tried again today and everything was gone, so it looks good!

Great app, will be rating *****.

No need to apologize. I understand & thanks for the promo code. Takes a little getting use to but awesome so far. Will post a review after I play around with it some more & keep up the good work.

Is there a way to enter a url without leaving fullscreen mode? If not I think this would be a very nice addition.

Hi LSUtigers,
Yes, there is... fire the 360 Utility Arc while on full screen, goto show/hide options and turn on the address bar. 360 Browser can be customized according to your needs, so if you leave an option on in full screen, the next time you goto full screen, that option will be enabled for you automatically.

Thanks for the code....however, 360 Browser that you created..........................replaced my safari lololol

I love the look of it.....its faster then safari....what a great browser.

The ONLY con I have on it would be: When going to a web address, it doesn't automatically highlight the current address in the bar. I would have to click the "X" to cancel out the address and enter a new one. If you can somehow set it up like safari where it automatically highlights the address so i can just begin typing the URL instead hitting "X" and then entering the address.....

Also, when going into your history, when you click on an address, you have to press enter for it to go to that address. Can you make it where once you click the address it goes there automatically avoiding the enter/go button? Thanks

How do you open links in background tab? and is there a way to shorten the time where if you touch and hold a link to bring up the context menu?

As someone who uses favorites quite frequently to access sites, would it be possible to move the favorites function from the inner Circle sub-menu to a place more easily (and quickly) accessible?

Hi Bengtc,
To open links in background tab just touch and hold a link to bring up context menu and tap the U-Turn Arrow to make the webpage open in background.

As for shortening the time of context menu :(, no way available yet to shorten the time of touch and hold.

Hi JNGold,
There is bookmarks / favorites facility provided in the bottom bar [ the fourth icon from the left ] by which you can access them. Alternatively access them from the Quick Access List if you don't want to have them inside the 360 FS Inner Arc.

If there's a particular way you want Favorites to open for 360 Browser, pitch it to us and we will forward your suggestion to the design team for sure.

Thanks for the response. The problem is that I prefer to be in full screen mode which only has the arc controls visible. If moving the favorites out of the inner arc is not feasible, how about customizing a gesture to open the favorites screen?

Very nice. Sounds like the next update will have what I need to make 360 my primary browser. Any idea when the next update will be submitted to Apple?
