Definitely not confirmed, but rather interesting nonetheless. We’ve heard now from two sources that AT&T, and guess Apple, are contemplating launching an 8GB iPhone 3GS at the $99 price point before Christmas.

well looks like 8gb 3gs is comming out cause on
https://buyersguide.macrumors.com// it just changed from
"Buy only if you need it - Approaching the end of a cycle" to "Don't Buy - Updates soon"

so it is looking like it will come out next week on dec8th or 12th

You must have missed this:

"Buyers guide is an automated calculation.

Apple already said no new products this year."

It's still calculating using the cycle that occurred in 2007. The 4GB was discontinued and the 16GB was introduced. It's not happening this year.

but then why does it say this on https://buyersguide.macrumors.com//
Product :iPhone
Recommendation: Buy only if you need it - Approaching the end of a cycle
Last Release: June 08, 2009
Days Since Update: 170 (Avg = 178)

and seeing as people think its comming out in december 8 or 12th it should be comming out in 13-17 days
https://buyersguide.macrumors.com//

The buyer's guide is an automatic calculation based on previous release dates, not any inside information. It is thrown off by one anomalous data point (if I remember right, a mid-cycle release of the 16 GB 2G).

It did that last year too, it did that about the same time last year and the next update wasn't until June. As everyone else stated, one early release or update will change the average dramatically. The iPhone has been once every summer, except for the release of the original 16GB that threw it all off.

Also IMO Apple wont come out with a 8GB 3GS because they want everyone to spend the extra money to get the 3GS extra features. THe whole point of keeping the 3G was so people could afford it more and didn't need/want all the extra features.. Video, Voice control, compass and so on.

when did apple say there not releasing any new products this year? proof please (article or video)

What was the reason to that response, i dont see any productive answers from you

The reason for that response was once again telling you that there are no more products coming this year. It states it there and just about everyone knows that there is nothing else coming out till probably late January-Early March. But even so a 8GB 3GS isn't coming. Soon the 8GB won't exist and it will probably be 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, assuming flash memory prices drop.
