[3GS:Purplera1n] Working Cydia Apps

Now the only thing we need is a working 3G/Wifi hack to run slingplayer and Skype over 3G :)
 
I'm sure official dev release will be coming soon. Although since I don't have any windows setups currently no choice but to wait.

Ditch Cyberduck and get DiskAid 3.0 (it's free for MAC). Works like a charm for the MAC to SSH. Didn't know why I never thought of this before. I don't think it actually SSH's in, it sees the hard drive off the back.
 
If your running Categories on 3.0...

So apparently Spotlight can't see any apps that are hidden or are in Categories folders, but I stumbled on the solution... SpotBright!
Its on the BigBoss repo and works like a freakin charm, it basically combines the best parts of Spotlight and Quickgold! It saves your most frequent searches and can look inside Categories folders/hidden apps. I was stoked to find this app and am surprised more people haven't been talking about it, it keeps Spotlight relevant on a jailbroken iphone. :D
 
Has anyone tried Snapture with the 3GS? I would like to look into that, I like how it uses the volume buttons to take the picture. Much better than hitting the screen.

snapture works great... they have updated to 3.0 for 3.0 firmware!

Mine stopped working a few min after I installed it yesterday. Today I opened Cydia and there was an update for WeatherIcon. After I installed the update mine started working again. :D
 
Is anyone able to get the SBSettings Rotation Inhibitor to work? I tried it yesterday prior to the mobile substrate update that came out today and I did not work.
