What do you think?
Personally after upgrading to 3rd gen iPad Pro from 1st gen, I feel that it’s smallish...
In current bezel free form design, 15” would be fantastic.
What do you think..?

I wouldn't go bigger than that, but I definitely also wouldn't go smaller. Besides, the screen size is exactly the same. Why do you suddenly feel, the new iPad Pro feels smallish?

The iPad is still aimed at being a device you can easily carry and I think 15in would bust that flush. The 12.9 is no bigger than a hardback notebook of the kind people happily carry around in work contexts.

A 15in iPad really would be a laptop replacement before anything else in my opinion, and that could be a positive or negative depending on your (or Apple’s) perspective.

15"? Not enough.

Who remembers the Lenovo 27" tablet from a few years back. They had a commercial and everything for it. This was legit screen cap from it:

He just probably wants a bigger one. That would be nice. Maybe all sizes. iPad TV, iPad watch.
Choices are good.

I moved from 1st gen to 3rd gen and I love the new form factor. I wouldn't complain about another 0.5-1 inches of screen space though either. 15" is way too big (I had the 15" SB2 before...), but something in the low-mid 13" range wouldn't be too bad.

How did I never notice this?
I think I had this? Or some giant Android device of a similar size, maybe even a little bigger. Of course I didn’t use it as a tablet... it was basically meant to be an inexpensive computer to keep in my office at school when I was in grad school.

It’s the only Android device I’ve ever had. And it didn’t last that long because they stopped updating the OS really quickly.

Samsung's 18.4" tablet is actually really well designed. Not something that would sell 40 million in the US but for affluent families that want a tablet in the kitchen, for example, this is a great idea. The built in stand and handle are in good taste. And it would make a great, but smallish, all-in-one computer if it was macOS, for example.

Who say's Samsung isn't innovative. It even has a headphone jack. Not even Tim Cook can do that.

It even has a headphone jack.
Well, that's one thing wrong with it. Bump a plug, it takes out the motherboard—happened to me with my iPad Air. I taped the jack on my 12.9" 1st gen Pro and have never looked back. I gig with mine live and use one of these with the Apple USB Camera kit. Bump a plug on this and I'm out $18.

The headphone jack is the weak point in the design. I don't understand why Apple took two years to get rid of it after removing it from the iPhone was such a success (of the 18 million iPhones that Apple sold last January, only 5,400 had headphone jacks—that's the 6, 6+ and SE combined).

The jack is dead. Good riddance.

Never in my 30-50 years of existence has a headphone jack been a weak point or source of a problem, and never have I heard anyone else complain about a headphone jack. I even spent 5 years being an audio engineer of sorts, and musician, and have never heard a complaint from anyone in that field or profession.

You're the first. So forgive me if I don't take your experience as meaningful in any way, shape, or form. I'm not saying your experience or preference is invalid for you, respectfully, but to me this is just noise.

I’m sure theres a niche market for a 15” ipad pro. But i feel a 15” ipad pro is kinda like a 17” laptop...and Apple discontinued those.

Not saying it can’t or won’t happen. I could definitely see a lot of artists using them. But mostly at a desk at a graphic design house, video studio or art studio. Not for regular use. Not for the average person.

If Apple ever creates a touch screen iMac, that tilts flat on a table for design work, i could possibly see this happening in the distant future.

But for an iPad? Don’t think so.

But hey, I’m an artist, and i went with the 11” ipad pro. So go figure.

The new 12.9” iPad Pro I think is the perfect size. Decent size display equal to letter paper size and not too bulky to carry round.

Not to say I would not buy a bigger iPad, but it would then mainly be for desk use, rather than as portable device. For that to be beneficial, then the multi-tasking capability would need also beefing up.
