I hope I am not breaking any rules by posting this in two different threads but I really think its important you all are warned:

I would caution against anyone buying this Emission band. I received mine today and it was defective right out of the box. While that is not good it is not why I am warning against it. Its clear that the mesh part of the band is just spot glued to the small part that connects to the pin on the adapter. At some point that WILL break loose and your watch WILL go flying. So in a way I am glad mine was defective because at least i didn't suffer any damage to my watch a week, or a month down the road. You've been warned!

Feel free to delete if I broke the rules with this post.

That is troubling, but it may be a outlier. What happened with the band I received seems like it may be more likely given the other reviews on Amazon.

I guess i trust Apple more than an anonymous Chinese manufacturer to have a more significant QC process.

Have to echo chillg8r here on the Emisoon Milanese loop. I ordered the band after seeing the other enthusiastic thread about it last week (and before chillg8r's post), and it arrived a couple days ago. I was very disappointed. I didn't have the same issue that chillg8r had - the band was connected fine to the adapter - but the band itself was deformed and wouldn't sit flat no matter how I bent it. If that was the only problem though, I might have been able to live with it. But then as I wore it I noticed it looked "off" in many places - where the adapters joined the band was crooked on both sides of the band, the clasp mechanism didn't sit flat against the band and one edge looked like it was popped out even when the band was closed, etc. And then for the final straw, when I removed the band from the watch, one of the pieces of the adapter literally popped out. I managed to put it back together, but when I tried putting the band back on the watch, that adapter would no longer lock, making the band even more useless than it already was. Malfunction aside, the band looked ok from a distance, but from up close it looked very sloppy because of all the deformities.

That same night, I decided to bite the bullet and order the Apple Milanese band. It shipped yesterday and arrived today. Complete night and day - it feels so much better and well constructed/high quality (it's also much more thin/fine than the third party Milanese, but that's more of a style preference). I think I'm done with third party bands for now - this was my third attempt ordering a third party band and I've been burned each time. Maybe I'll give the market another look when the approved third party made for apple watch bands start coming out.

Has anyone received this band as discussed in the original post? I received tracking information over two weeks ago but nothing. I am thinking about canceling my order.

The reason it so cheap is not because they buy it cheaper on Aliexpress, it's because they all sell directly from their factories. The sellers make the items from scratch, no middle men involved.

Heres a black Milanese band which would go on a adapter.

That looks exactly like the one I got for my Pebble. If so, a very nice band. Not the same as Apple's - no magnetic closure - but a great band for the price.

I canceled my order and my refund is pending. I purchased the blue leather loop band from the Apple store yesterday. C'est la vie.

I got my refund for the fake band yesterday. I think I'll stick with genuine Apple products and avoid overseas websites.

I bought the Baseus Milanese loop in Singapore from a store called Mac Infinity in Funan for $25 SGD. It doesn't feel as good as genuine Apple given the clasp isn't magnetic but it is adjustable (within the notches) and quality seems okay so far. Looks nice with my SS 42mm. Best bit was the store clerk gave me a $5 discount when I bought it with the tempered glass screen protector ($15), and the staff helped with adjusting the clasp using a flat head screwdriver and applied the glass screen protector.

No, but I've ordered a magnetic one from eBay. Photos look good (except the one that I think are just from apples site). PayPal are really good with refunds so I've taken a risk.

It should be here later in the week, so will post the verdict

Def have seen other listings on Ali etc using those exact same pictures which many suspect are of an actual Apple ML. Here's hoping for you mate.

I kinda figure I can't lose. If it's good, then great I've got a nice watch strap. If it's not identical to the photos (screen shot already) then I just report to PayPal. I've also got my eye on a £50 one which has fantastic reviews and a good returns policy. So if the £25 one is junk, I'll try the next one.

The delivery estimate has passed. I've emailed the seller, will update if I hear more. My leather loop has arrived from a different seller (some photos in the super long band thread). I think I might try and get a refund and order the slightly more pricey one!

I would definitely request a refund if I were you. I just ended up getting the real deal instead and am glad I did. I requested a refund and received my money in just a few days.

Update on the Milanese loop. I got a refund on the first as it never arrived, they offered to resend but they had quite a bit of negative feedback so I took the refund.

The second one was the more expensive (£49) one. It arrived and looked great. The mesh was as fine as the real thing, strong magnets and it clicked into the watch easily.

The only issue was the overlap didn't quite line up (see photos), seller has agreed to swap and thinks it one that just slipped through QC. Will update further with links to seller once the replacement arrives!

You were wise to get a refund. Good for you.

I ended up purchasing the Milanese loop from Apple and couldn't be happier. If I were you I would get a refund for the band pictured, bite the proverbial bullet, and go for the real thing.

I'm happy with the replacement so far. Not sure I can justify an extra £75!

Got this $46 SS 3 point 38mm HOCO metal band and couldn't be happier. As others have. It was sold by Oittm, but the Amazon Prime package had the HOCO band inside.

Interestingly I have large wrists, 195mm even though I'm a slender and fit male. I like smaller watches, so I have the 38 mm sport SG watch.

A Monowear Nylon was just too small. Returned and got a refund.

Reviewing the official Apple watch bands for 38mm, the only ones long enough for my wrists are the current SB, SS Link($449), and Classic leather. ML is too short. And I don't want leather. Have the SB in black. Link is too expensive.

So it's limited. I'd like the 5 point, but I've only found silver.

So this SS HOCO is perfect. Had to remove two links even. Like the looks in the black grey band. Perfect fit. Hope the anodized coating is durable.
