It isn't completely bad. It'll have the trey swapped if work gets one with a bad case. I could be giving something a new lease on life. If I ever have to do it again, I'll follow his guide.Too bad you destroyed that 4,1. I highly recommend pindelski's method for changing processors on a 4,1. It's intelligent, methodical, provides easy troubleshooting and requires no additional parts. The guide is down but the archive is available and referenced elsewhere on this forum.
