4 core vs 6 core for Photoshop/Lightroom/Illustrator?

Quick question...

I had a quick question, would this processor (on a laptop) be good for things like Photoshop and video editing work?

Dual core Intel Core i5-4200U (2.6 GHz)

I know its not the best out there, but how good is the one on here?
I just wanted help from someone who is experienced. Thanks! ;)
