Except that we already know that the memory controller supports over 2GB of memory...

EDIT: My mistake, looking up the specs on the chipset, it now says a limit of 2GB. I don't remember anymore where I read that the chipset supported more. I thought that anything i9xx and higher had >2GB memory support, just not all board manufacturers officially supported it. (http://download.intel.com/design/mobile/datashts/30921902.pdf - page 24)
