So it now starts up correctly, swapped out a PS for the second time, got a bad one I guess on EB. The only other possibility is that the first replacement took a hit when I had a power bump. But in the end all three work great, but on two of the you have to play with the start button. The two intermittent units will start by latching in 5V for USB busses (I have an LED on a port for a visual), no case power light, no fans; you push and hold in the button the second time after the USB ports comes on, then keep holding in the button for another ten seconds +-, after the USB port LED goes out , let go, press it normally a third time and the unit powers up and stays up. There's some time out being forced in the PS, but without any schematic I'm clueless. Thanks for listening forum. Anyone know where's there a A1289 PS diagram?
