1. Bigger Size
6.9 Inches
According to multiple sources, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will increase in size, potentially making it Apple's biggest iPhone ever. The device will measure in at 6.9 inches (up from 6.7), and is expected to be taller and wider than last year's iPhone 15 Pro Max. While thickness will remain the same, the weight will increase slightly due to the larger size. If accurate, it would be the first iPhone size increase since the iPhone 12 series, but it would also be another blow to those users who prefer a smaller handset.

Those who are wanting a smaller handset aren't getting the Pro Max version.

Just call it iPhone "BIGGER" hahaha...
Bigger doesn't mean better.
No innovation and nothing new since iPhone X 7 years ago... Same S**t different year.
No foldable phone, no real aesthetic changes...
The iPhone 20 is going to be an iPad mini if we keep going at this rate.
Sad

Umm, who is getting 29 hours of battery life on their 15PM? I'm getting 10 at best.

Or is the article measuring battery life in Lilliputian hours?
Thats's what it's rated for in terms of "video playback". So, realistically, in airplane mode, minimal brightness, and in low power mode to reduce the refresh rate.

I have thousands of pictures and videos of my pets, so I could see going through that much.
I currently have:

894 songs
625 videos
9,486 photos
165 applications

Used storage = 172.56 GB

I mean, there was a time when I would have said that I couldn't possibly need more than 64GB of storage on my phone, so I won't say that I could never reach the point of needing 2TB, but I don't think that it will happen any time soon.

I just wish I could reject a phone call when the phone is “locked”. Basic phone features are sorely missed. All phones I have used can do such basic task, even “dumb phones” from yore, except iPhone…
Two presses of the sleep/wake button will do this.

ProRes RAW 4K p60 is ~12 GB per minute. So 60 minutes is ~0.7 TB.
Compressed formats used in many downloads are somewhat smaller. If someone wants to store a season of their favorite show to binge watch on planes or 9 or 10 of the latest movies for travel or when camping, it can rack up.

My point is that some people use the iPhone for on-the-go videography. In that case, if they're using ProRes (like many YouTubers might use), 1 TB storage isn't much at all. For example, The Best Ever Food Review Show went to Egypt to film a show and all of their equipment got confiscated for no good reason. So they went out and bought an iPhone and filmed it that way. I don't know what format they shot in though.

Frankly, I'd like to see SMALLER phone, thinner phone, lighter phone. That would be innovation for me.

Understood. I think you will find it will be compressed. 4K broadcasts on satellite have very heavy digital compression anyway.
HEVC which the iPhone 15 Pro Max supports can "achieve a data compression ratio of up to 1000:1" quote from castr.com of which I know nothing so please do not take this as an endorsement merely identifying the source.

Bo-ring ring. Would someone please answer the boring phone ?! 📱
You know Apple has become IBM when they no longer think what consumer truly needs, from the ground up. And instead only aiming for bigger this bigger that. It's the megapixel wars all over again.

Except Apple makes products people want to buy and IBM doesn't. IBM paid little attention to branding where Apple has become a lifestyle choice. For me it is the lack of technicality. I dumped windows 8 years ago and would never go back. I liked my Motorola Clamshell phones and Blackberry but would never go back from my iPhones. I do not care about camera and how fast angry birds runs but Apple has to cover a broad range of Consumer Segments.

Lol, so paragraphs later and - ‘things are BIGGER.’. Got it. Pass from me, but I just went from an 11 Pro Max to a 15 Pro Max so I’ve got a few years before I consider anyways..
