Oh! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. My iPhone had a notification that my payment option needed to be updated, and my iCloud change your storage option also crashes.

I received a similar email this morning for the 1000GB plan, so this doesn't seem limited to the smaller plans.

I received that notice today, but for my Apple Music Individual Subscription. I was able to get to my account info through iTunes and it says the same thing - discontinued.

Dear ________,

Your current Apple Music individual membership subscription has been discontinued, and will not automatically renew.

I got the same email for one of my kids. My email was copied. Glad to see I am not the only one.

I can say that the past two days (not sure if it is related or not?) I have been getting a lot of errors authenticating with Itunes on my iPhone 7+. Even though I entered the right password it didn't work. Gave me a error that it couldn't reach the iTunes servers. Yesterday the only way I could stop it was to log out of itunes then back in. After that for some reason iCloud Music Library was disconnected. I lost all my downloaded Apple Music playlists and had to re-download all of them for offline playback. Weird.

I've just received the same e-mail. I also get an error when I try to change my storage plan (even to enter this menu section). iCloud (new iOS 10.3.1 interface showed me a red bubble "1" in front of "payment and delivery"; I have no personal data in there as it is a new section) even proposed me to update (to add it in new menu) my delivery address or to add a credit card (I don't use any card, just redeeming cards to be able to pay for services and purchases). So I guess if it can be because of my payment with reddem cards and of absence of any credit cards linked with my iCloud? Has anyone got this e-mail regardless of using credit card as a payment method?

I use a credit card for my accounts. I'll note I got the e-mail for my Apple Music subscription, but not for my 50GB storage plan.

Probably / possibly related, trying to accept e-mailed calendar invites from Mail to Calendar is also causing lots of errors like this one.

I received the email for my Apple Music subscription, which looking at my email history renews on or around the 19th of every month. So I suspect those receiving the emails have services that renew this day every month, unless Apple is preemptively updating subscription offers we are caught in a nuisance with this bug.

Whew! I got the popup and email notification for my 200GB plan this morning. Same issues accessing iCloud as everyone else. I guess iCloud is having a no good very bad horrible day.

Also received same email 20 minutes ago. No idea why and my iCloud storage seems fine... weird....
I got the same message too, today. I've written off to ask them why. And I am not so sure whether if this is the case, one looses the material on iCloud. The whole point of icloud was not to lose it! Ironic if Apple lose it for you!

I'm on a 50gig plan but it doesn't show any other options in the settings, no upgrades nor downgrades. Haven't received a mail.

Don't know if it's a new thing but under Subscription Options for Apple Music it now has 1 month single £9.99, 1 year single, 1 student month £4.99 no mention of family plan.

Still not showing any new iCloud storage plans and lists my current one as the largest (50Gb)

Just checked using my Mac. My 50GB subscription is still in place, and I can see/choose all other tiers.

apple status clearly shows they had issues with the icloud and music services this morning, and the music service issue is ongoing.

https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

I also received the email for all my family accounts, and I believe it is in error since we have the 50gb, 200gb and 1tb icloud services and we all received emails that our plans were discontinued.

logging into the icloud on each device gave me a payment error, though the card doesn't expired for another 3 years, I updated the expiry date and CCV and everything is back to working and shows I am still subscribed to the icloud plan each device previously held.
