Woooosh!

OK, I did three things and my speed has gone way past anything I was expecting. I added the 2gb of RAM from OWC, swapped the stock HD for a 7200 RPM one, and ran Safari Enhancer. EVERYTHING is much faster, it's like a completely different computer. So yeah, my previous comments are still true, but man oh man, add more RAM and you will not be disappointed!

When I'm doing homework and such I'll have a bunch of stuff open (Adium, Firefox, Thunderbird, Preview, Word, etc.) and I've noticed that 512 just isn't enough.

I took the plunge and just got 2 gigs on newegg. Here's for hoping 247 bucks makes things a lot better.
