I am sure that this has been discussed before but couldn't find a thread. For those of you that switched from a 6+ to 7+, are you happy? Are the differences worth the swap?

Thanks for the feedback!
I was going to keep my 6+ until next years phone, but I ended up swimming with it in August. So I figured I would get the 7+ and trade in after one year. It is truly much snappier and better. Maybe in the month that I didn't have my iPhone, I forgot how slow the phone charges but that's only with the stock block. It's truly an upgrade, and the camera is definitely noticeably improved. I absolutely love it. The response on the touch ID is so instantaneous that I almost get upset I can't see my lock screen when waking the phone up. Scrolling lag is the same it seems but I'm sure theres an improvement and it could also be the app itself and how it renders.

I'm on the 6 Plus as well. I have a newer battery so I'm curious as to whether there would be a decent real world battery life difference were I to upgrade to a 7 Plus..

I still dont have a 7 plus so disregard this statement if you want. Just ordered one and my reason is for
Camera/s
3d touch
A10
and the 3 gb of ram

I hope the plus gets the dual multi tasking like the ipads. Its also more future proof with the 3gb of ram

I also went from the 6+ to the 7+. Everything about the 7+ beats my 6+ except the battery. My 6+ battery was much better out of the box than my 7+ has been. I'm amazed at how fast touch ID has improved.

I upgraded from a 6 Plus to a 7 Plus. What I've noticed so far:

SPEED - First thing I think anyone coming from a 6+ notices is the speed. The 7+ is blazing fast in comparison.

SPEAKERS - To me they are much better than my 6+. I had a speaker phone conversation with the 7+ and it was loud and clear. Sometimes my 6+ seemed garbly with speaker phone convos.

NEW HOME BUTTON - I wasn't sure I would like it but I do! I mean I REALLY like it. It accomplishes everything the old home button did without the clicking. No worries about dust or liquid getting inside and the haptic makes it feel like your press is registering just fine.

I will say (hope not to get flamed), if you are looking to be bowled over with surprises from the 7+ (like maybe you were when you got the 6+ or hell when you got the 5), you won't. The fact that the phone's form factor is the same minimizes that feeling a bit. I agree with many others that say it's feels more like an "S version" upgrade, but many of us knew that coming in to our purchases. I'm still grandfathered into Sprint's upgrade program so I didn't pay 1K like many people did for this phone. I'm happy with the purchase and the new features are welcomed. I also love the Jet Black color. Could I have waited til next year? Of course. Would I have spent 1K on this phone coming from a 6+? Probably not. Am I happy with my 7+ so far? Yes.

Thanks for all of the feedback. You guys liking the camera a lot as well? I have seen mixed reviews but that is definitely one thing I would like an improvement on.

Yes, the camera is a very noticeable improvement over the 6/6+ camera. Cannot really comment personally on how much better it is than the 6S/S+, but there are plenty of sources on the web you can check!

I went from the 6+ to 7+, but i've only had it since last friday. Until a few day's ago i've been worried about the battery usage and standby time after each charge. I read a lot of info on this forum about it, so i applied a few of the suggestion's i read. First i reset the setting's, then went through each app, and turned radio button's on and off. Just trying to figure out what would give me more battery life. Before even thinking about the battery life i noticed Notification's going crazy on the locked screen, and thought why do i need any other than message and phone? I turned them all off for locked screen, because when you turn on the phone you can see how many FB or mail notifications you have. Yesterday i used the 4K video, and noticed the battery % dropped 4-5% for a 5 minute video. The video looked great on my cell, but i have nothing else set up for 4K, so i changed the setting to 720P for less battery use, and for just shooting a video. If i really see something i want to use the video for i'll change to 1080P, or even back to 4K. I used the zoom during the video, and i was impressed. So after 3 time's charging the battery i finally got usage 8hrs +, and standby 35hrs, with 19% still showing for battery. That's a lot better. Today i have 3hrs usage, and 24hrs standby, with 83% battery life.
Today i decided to take some photo's in the park while taking a morning walk. I can't explain how impressed i am with this 12MP cell camera, after i download them to my iMac for a larger view. I've never liked any iPhone's camera, not even the 6+. I just used the camera for general shot's, and when i wanted good photo's i used my Canon EOS 20D 8.2MP. I have 25,000 photo's i downloaded to the 7+, but i have another 125,000 on an external hard drive. I email the photo's from the phone to myself, then transfer to the download's. I know before you couldn't bluetooth them from the cell to the iMac in the past, but i don't know if that's changed? When i opened the email, and download the first photo all i could say was WOW! The resolution was so crisp, and nothing that i've seen on any cell i've owned. The photo even looked better than from my Canon. It's all about 12MB, and it's alway's about resolution. When i sent them through email i chose Large, but i'm going to send some again in Actual size to see if it makes a difference.
So for me i'm getting happier, and happier with the 7+ just because of the few thing's i've done with it. I don't honestly know much about the 7 yet, and i went from a droid to iPhone 3,4,5,6+,7+, but this is the first time i want to find out all i can about a cell phone. in the photo's below i took the first one as a regular photo, and the second with the zoom increased, but i don't know how much increase on the zoom.
