Anybody else's iPhone 6s/iOS9 rebooting or crashing?
Today I opened IMDB app and the phone just rebooted. Only event in logs is:

ResetCounter:

{"name":"Reset count","bug_type":"115","os_version":"iPhone OS 9.0.2 (13A452)"}
Incident Identifier: B45BCFF4-D701-4855-94F6-1D387F8ED3FE
CrashReporter Key: 192a195c3a6c58159ef70a0362adc73bb79cd16b
Date: 2015-10-06 14:35:28 +0300
Reset count: 1
Boot failure count: 0
Boot faults:
Boot stage: 0
Boot app: 2681261667

Yesterday when I was using the Phone.app and hung up the call (because the person I was calling wasn't answering) the phone app just froze or something. I couldn't cancel the call and exit call screen because the screen wasn't registering any touches.

Before buying iPhone 6s I had zero issues like these. It's a bit hard to pinpoint the problem because I didn't update my 5s to IOS 9. So it's a bit hard to pinpoint if it's iPhone's or iOS9's problem. I tend to think it's iOS9 because lets face it, it's in kind of a beta stage actually. Updates rolling out weekly which shows pretty well that there are bugs and problems with the public version.

No reboots on iOS 9.0 or 9.0.2 on my 5S. One app crash, but that app crashes occasionally under previous iOS too. Sorry, can't comment on 6S, but 5S seems very stable.

Overslept this morning due to my 6s turning off during the night. Eventually turned it on using home and power and it was 100% charged. Very odd. Running 9.02.

I'm having random reboots. An app will freeze, the screen will go super weird for a second and then it will shut down and restart.

Not having the issue that the phone will just randomly turn off though, which is what a lot of people seem to behaving. Its always just: app freeze and restart. Since getting the phone its been happening roughly once a day.

Tempted to take it to the genius bar to see about a replacement? But if its purely software related I'm not too worried. Do folks have any idea if its software or hardware related?

tech support offered to swop the phone brand new, i said no.

the next new phone may even have more issues.

Aha, yep. The phones perfect apart from this little 'quirk'.

I did a hard reset last night (home and power button held down for 10 secs) and touch wood it hasn't done it since, although I'm not holding my breath.

i did

1. full restore to 9.0.1, updated to .02

2.did not enable touch id / siri

3. did reset all settings

one guy in here said he got a unit swopped out and he immediately noticed the unlock lag on a brand new phone and OS.

i guess we can stop troubleshooting here. hmm... you tried disabling 3D touch, rebooting and monitoring?

i am craving for solutions!

Not yet, gonna see how the hard reset goes and if not probably just wait it out for a software update fix. I've been paying attention to the 9.0.3/0.4 updates to see if they mention it as an issue that has been fixed, but nothing yet. But then maybe its something Apple wouldn't mention anyway?

i have hilighted the unlock lag via the apple bug reporter. Here's some news.

They said that my report was a duplicated issue. Seems like someone already reported this

Hmm, okay. As long as its 100% software related I'm not too worried - It's just annoying that it happens.

darn my phone just rebooted. Super cheese out

Since the hard reset mine hasn't done it. Currently a record of 1.5 days without a random reboot!

I feel like you can prevent some of them. The phone/app starts to feel slightly sluggish for maybe 2-3 seconds before it happens. Closing the app at that point (seems) to prevent the phone from locking up and restarting.

Just had another reboot while browsing the web with Safari. The screen turned dark gray, like an old tv without a signal and then rebooted.

My 6plus that is less then a year old has rebooted twice now - The entire phone went back to default - had to sign in with my apple ID to get my phone back to what I had on it.

I also am getting many times that I have to turn off the phone and restart it to get the screen to un freeze, and multiple apps need to be restarted to get them to work. Also in Messages I need to restart it 3-4 times a day the message bar goes grey and wont allow me to type any messages.

Very unhappy with this I0S update - hope they get this all fixed asap

I think it has to do with backing up through iTunes or syncing through iTunes.

What?? No. My phone hasn't been even connected to iTunes in years. It has nothing to do with iTunes.
