Also have this issue with my iPhone 6s. Have had 2 random reboots since the upgrade to iOS 9.0.2 (span of about 1.5 weeks). Both have been when using apps (Workflow and SMS apps) and have been error 115. As others have described, it's a weird screen distortion before the apple logo. I'll see what happens with 9.1 before doing anything drastic like restoring from new or investigating hardware replacement as I suspect it to be an iOS 9.0.2 memory management issue.

I noticed this issue as the OP as well. It started on my iPhone 6s 128Gb iOS 9.0.2, slowly been getting worse. My phone will freeze with a Grey Screen and then Reboot when I am using Safari, Twitter, Tapatalk, etc. I updated to iOS 9.1 and my phone is still doing this. @AeroZ were you able to resolve this issue?

The random reboots have stopped but the apps including messages, email and any other app stop all the time and I have to close everything to get them to work again

So I finally couldn't deal with my phone being useless for the pass 2 days and went into my nearest Apple store. They looked at it and right after it booted up (I had it off) it went haywire and rebooted. The Apple Representative said it was a "Logic Board Issue" and gladly replaced the iPhone. If your having this issue take it into your Apple Store and get it replaced, your motherboard is faulty.

I'm still running 9.0.2 but I now rarely get gray screens and reboots. Once a week max. I got like almost a year of warranty left so no rush to take the phone to service too. I'm lazy aswell :p
