at&t black 256 + here. ordered 3:18am eastern time. still in preparing for shipment mode. been that way since day 1

AT&T 7P MB 256G @ 0301EST on 9/9. Still shipment pending. EST of 9/23-9/30. At&t & Apple did a hell of a job on this one.

My husband is getting the 256GB 7+ T-mobile version, ordered on apple.com with an initial delivery date of Oct 4-10. Just got "preparing to ship" this morning. Lucky guy. My 7+ is still processing (Oct 5-11) matte black 128GB.

Verizon iPhone 7 Plus 256GB, just shipped about 4:30am PST and is coming out of China as we speak. Should be here Tuesday (all parts of me crossed that it does...) but I am VERY excited! o_O:p

My JB 7+ 256GB ordered from Verizon's business site at 3:11 AM on 9/9 with an original ship date of 9/28 has been delayed until 11/16 so I'm cancelling and ordering MB.

The Jet Black 7 Plus is so elusive... jeez, what is Apple having issues with? The coating? You did it on the 7, the cameras? It's available in all other colors. Artificial supply? Indeed.

Right? They should have had them ready for launch. I guess they had to either make a lot more or took too long to make enough.

CONGRATS!!! What was your initial delivery date? Mine is Sep 23-27 and it's still "preparing for shipment."

Mine was the 27th - 30th :). Yours should be shipping any time! Right now mine is kicking back and relaxing in China lol.

Apple says est. delivery is Thursday, but UPS says it should be here by Tuesday!!!! YAY!!!

Also, what are the benefits of "pre-signing" for delivery? I'm not so sure about leaving a sign on door that says, "HEY, I'M EXPECTING A VERY VALUABLE PACKAGE! COME AND GET IT!" Or am I just being too paranoid?

Anyhow... Yay! My phone will be here by Tuesday instead of Friday!!! Pre-ordering ain't too bad after-all ;)

Just got an update from UPS, looks like my iPhone won't be here until Wednesday, the 21st. Still better than Friday, the 23rd. ;)

Also, UPS says it's still in China. Has anyone who got a shipment notice this weekend seen any movement with their package yet?

So... it's the 21st and now my scheduled delivery date has been changed AGAIN. They are really toying with my emotions here lol. Looks like Apple was right, I probably won't be getting it until Thursday

It's crazy how none shipped for launch day. I'm almost wondering if something went wrong with the first batch and they had to redo them.

Apple made the same mistake Samsung did. Samsung wanted to beat iPhone, so they pushed things through early and now they have exploding batteries. Then Apple decides to launch early to take advantage of Samsung's gaff, depsite clearly not having enough stock built up, and now - this clusterf***. Granted, not as bad as exploding phones, but still - both companies have ended up doing the same thing - pi$$ng off customers.
