Why are you so concerned about my take on the weight. I'm 6'8" tall. That 'brick' fits just fine in my pockets. If you are a female, wear skinny jeans or a little fella, get the 4.7" phone or the X. I'm sorry that a 7.13 ounce phone is too much for you.

that is certainly fine. i'm just not comfortable with these phones getting heavier and heavier year after year, has nothing to do with my gender or height.

Sometimes I think when somebody handles two phones that they feel are different in weight based off what they read, it's a placebo effect. But ultimately, when they are using that same iPhone they thought was heavy, they Use it normally and don't even notice the weight anymore.

Went from 3 years with an iPhone 6 to the 8+ today. Been using the 8+ alot today and the weight difference isn't noticeable.

iPhone 6: 4.55 ounces (129 grams)
iPhone 8+: 7.13 ounces (202 grams)

I'm a skinny web developer that doesn't exercise at all. The most I lift is a 20 ounce Mountain Dew. :D

I have a 6 right now which is the lighter than both the 6S and 7 so this was a concern for me but i decided to bite the bullet and upgrade since my 6 is on it's last legs. The X is much heavier which is part of the reason i didn't order it(besides price, faceid and and larger footprint)
