Seriously, ipad lovers need to find an audience this thing is for. First, they say it's not for people who are computer savvy. "It's for your average user." So, we get an average user's opinion (and I could mention some in my own personal life, too), and you people dismiss it as again not part of the target audience.

No, I'm pretty sure that we're dismissing it because she hasn't used one yet.

Opinions based on nothing are meaningless.

No disrespect to your mom and I'm sure that there are people her age that are looking at the device as well but I wouldn't even consider her take on it as a sign of how well the device will do with the rest of the market.

I want a 10" device to hold up to my ear to use as a phone and I won't budge from that!!!

I did have a Treo 300, which came close....
