Well, those phones have all been looked over by an Apple Employee once more than a brand new phone, so it might be better quality.

It was fixed, otherwise they wouldn't provide you with a 60-day return policy (twice as much as any new product) and a 1-year warranty. If they didn't fix them, it would cost them even more. But then again, I'm not going to stop you from paying $50 more than you have to, if that's how you work.
