[doublepost=1469790725][/doublepost]Preparation:
1. Pangu jailbreak IPA file NvwaStone_1.0.ipa available at http://pangu.io .
2. Cydia impactor available at http://www.cydiaimpactor.com/ .
(Special Note: This tool, developed by Saurik, is used to sign the ipa file so that Pangu jailbreak tool can be executed on iOS devices. Cydia impactors does not collect your apple id and password. All the information is only used for applying a personal free certificate from Apple.)
3. A computer (Cydia impactor runs on all major OSes, including Windows, OS X, and Linux)
4. A valid Apple ID. (In case that you do not want to use your current Apple ID to apply the personal certificate for any reason, we suggest you apply a new Apple ID and use it)
Limitations:
1. An Apple ID can only apply for a certificate for a limited number of devices.
2. The certificate will expire in 7 days. If your certificate gets expired, you need to follow the guide to install the jailbreak IPA again.
To Apple Developers:
If you have enrolled the Apple developer membership, signing the IPA file with your own developer certification is a better choice (i.e., Pangu jailbreak app will get expired in 1 year, rather than 7 days).

does this mean that we have to jailbreak every week???

Yes. Still semi-tether - and will likely stay that way thru end of 9. Pangu has the vector exploit for untether - but they're saving it for iOS 10 JB - which is exactly what we should want them to do. The reJB process for this 9 JB takes 5 seconds.. No big!

How do you know pangu has vector exploit for untethered jailbreak?

Only if you reboot. But you don't lose any tweaks or settings in the reJB. Takes 10 seconds. No big.

I just tried jailbreaking a old iPad Air 1 and I do all the steps right but I never get a Cydia icon on my iPad. What am I doing wrong? The Pangu app says I am jailbreak.
[doublepost=1469792964][/doublepost]I see it respring but it only takes like 1 second then goes back to the lock screen.

If you don't get the notification in Chinese before the respring, then the JB didn't take. Try opening JB app again.. If you have the green circle there - the JB didn't take. Click on it again.. And immediately lock iPad. Then when you see notification - do not unlock! Wait for respring 10-30 seconds later.

Of course I get an error every time I enter Apple ID and password.. I'm not meant to JB am I? Grrr

Cydia impactor can be use from a PC to the device??

My cydia crash every time y try to open it up, don't know what to do... :|

I wonder why the Pangu Team released this half baked jb. There would have waited until they build a full untethered jb.

We've all waited this long, I don't see why we couldn't wait another 2 to 3 months.

This has cause a lot of havoc mostly for those on 9.0.2 jb who where already enjoying their jb. There is no going back for them. They will have to live with it from now on. I hope & pray that a stable jb will be released soon.

You think?! / laughing/

Why do you think I stayed w/ my 9.0.2 JB?...this JB is not worth updating to if you were already jail-broke. Just to install nightshift and a few other features?..LOL. Don't think so.

Only worth it if you were running stock and were going crazy with the Apple handcuffs...

I think this JB was released because the exploit was closed in the beta ios10...that's my guess. You may encounter problem getting it to work, but that happens with every JB to one extent or another.

Frankly, you all should give kudos to the Pangu team. The alternative is much worse.

Any help with Cydia crashing every time I open it?
ReJaikbreak using the tool on your phone. Every time you reboot phone - Cydia will crash until you reJB. Click on tool and then immediately lock your phone.. Wait for respring.

Also, with Saurik's Impactor tool - you'll need to do a full jailbreak every 7 days. The certificate only lasts 7 days.

Still waaay better than no JB

Hi, thank you for the reply, this is what I have been doing:

1. Open Cydia, it crashes.
2. Open PP app, hit the blue circle, wait for two minutes.
3. Hit the on/ off button
4. The phone "restarts (?)" and when come back I get a PP notification.
5. Then the Phone "restarts" (?) again.
6. Open Cydia by myself but it crashes all over again.

This is the correct procedure to reJailbreak? Or I am missing something?

Can I use the unJB tool from my pc directly or I need Cydia to do it?

Thanks for the help you can provide

Do you immediately lock your phone after you hit the blue circle?

The instructions I saw said to do it immediately. I've rebooted twice and each time it's taken a few tries before it worked correctly.
Yes.. The "immediate" lock is key to getting it to run smoothest.. It's still finicky though.. Weird JB tool.
