How is 9.3's battery life, those of you who have updated and/or tested?

Is it better/worse than 9.2.1?

How does it compare to the jailbreak versions (9.0 - 9.0.2)?

Right after you update your iPhone battery life is not at its optimum. You need to use it for 2 days before you start to measure battery life.

Suffering massive drain. About 10% per hour while phone is off. Battery settings indicate it's Siri as it's showing 99% use. I can't remember the last time I invoked Siri.

I've had battery problems on beta 6, beta 7, and now the final build (which was different from beta 7).

iPad mini 2 on pre-9.3 got 9-11 hours of my usage, last couple weeks I get flat 8.

iPhone 5s on pre-9.3 got 4.5-5.5 hours of my usage, now down to 3.5-4 last couple weeks.

No bad actors in the battery stats, and I've tried resetting settings as well as a wipe and setup as new on both devices.

Hope this improves but I'm not too optimistic.

I'm in the same boat on my iPhone 6s. Poor battery on the last couple of betas and noticing no improvement on the final build.

On my iPhone 6s and iPad Air 2, I am seeing much higher than usual background usage, even compared to the Betas. All Betas gave me the same battery life of 9.2.1 which was great. My 6s is showing signs of lower battery life because of the high background usage, while my Air 2 really isn't showing any different battery life, even though background usage is higher.

There's no point discussing battery life yet as the OS was just released and it usually takes 2-3 cycles (minimum) before you can notice any real difference.

62% on Home & Lock Screen in the last 19 hours only 8 mins on screen.

Phone off charge at 9am this morning and nearly dead at 5pm.

This is a real problem for me on my iPhone 6

iPhone 6 here and battery life is worse. At this stage of the day I had 60%+ left, on 9.3 I am at 41%. Once again biggest hog is Home and lock screen, now the problem with that is I only have 20 mins screen on time.

Huh. Battery life is excellent for me on my 6S (TSMC). I would roughly get 4 hours - nearly 5 hours SoT. With the new update, I got 5 hours and 36 minutes of SoT. I was using Safari, Hulu, YouTube (big three that battery), and a few games and other apps.

Hopefully this is the average I get, however, it's the first cycle. It'll probably end up going down lower than this lol.

Is this adding up all the listed on-screen times, or basically going by the usage time reported at the bottom of the battery screen?

I don't know what Apple did but iOS 9.3 has greatly improved my battery life compared to 9.2.1 and I have a iPhone 6s
