98c screen protector for touch?

Yeah I just saw that too and was thinking of buying it.
It is like $6 for shipping though.
If not that I was thinking of buying the more expensive invisible shield.
Maybe I will buy that $7 one then if it is bad I would get the better one.

I looked up the invisible shield, and it looked pretty powerful (although buy extra application spray was the comment everyone had), although it doesn't help cushion the ipod (or hold a small pair of earphones, as I am considering).
But I'd wait a couple of weeks on something that binding to make sure the hardware is up to snuff. It could be impossible to take off well.
Question: how/does a protector detract from having a glass screen (texture, image, around the edges, etc.)?
