What do you do to your JB iPhone when youve got all the tweaks/apps you want/need?

You have to create a menu in activator. Just add all of the apps you want to access into the menu and it shows up like that.

I don't see any options to create a menu. :( Can you tell me step-by-step how to do it?

I just can't sync it from my computer.

How is that possible for Apple to prevent you from syncing an app that you have on your computer? I have several apps that were removed from the App store for various reasons, including being in violation of App store rules, but I've never had any problems syncing them to my iDevices.

Yup, this is correct. Under menus, create the name and then just add the apps.

Not sure. But 1password/pro and other apps like appshopper and some other games wouldn't sync to my iPhone 4S or my iPhone 5. The only way I could download them was to go through the purchased section under the App Store.

"You can't download it from the previous purchased apps on the device? iTunes wouldn't let me sync it from the computer, but I was able to download it on the phone from previous purchases apps, thankfully. I had purchased 1password and 1password pro over the last few years. No way in hell was I paying another $18 for a new app."

No!
Usually, yes. But when and app is killed permanently such as 1Password and 1Password Pro was there is no getting it back (even under 'purchased' with iTunes)!

I just installed this version from the App Store. You go to updates>purchased>not on this phone. Look through the list. It's in there. I've installed it twice since updating to iOS6. I haven't purchased the new version for the same reason as you. Too expensive. I was soooo happy the first time I saw 1Password in my list of purchased apps. I was actually quite shocked. Not sure why you couldn't install it. I've done it twice in the past 3 weeks.

Yes exactly regarding 1Password. I did the same thing. But I for some reason I didn't have AppShopper in my list. I've used that app forever. I can't figure out why I can install 1Password but AppShopper isn't even listed under "Purchased" in the App Store?!? Any idea why?

I always transfer my purchases. And AppShopper is in my folder with all my other legally purchased IPA's. But I can't sync/install it nor is it in my purchased apps along with 1password and all the other apps I bought. Any idea why I'm not seeing AppShopper and you are?

Found it! I was looking under the menu for assigning actions, didn't think it was in the top level menu. :p

Well, I never knew this feature existed, this could be very useful! Although adding actions to the menu seems to take a long time.

Also, I tried to set up a menu that contained other menus, but that seems to crash?

Is it possible you're just skipping over it? If you're anything like me, I'm sure you have hundreds of pointless crappy free apps you've downloaded in the past lol a while back I actually went through and hid over 1,000 app downloads because I had my account since 2009 on all my iPhones, my moms, my dads, my nephews iPod touch and one of my friends iPhones who didn't have a computer, so you can imagine how many stupid apps were downloaded. Now that everyone has their own accounts it's easier for me to manage things. Now in the purchased section I've got most of the previous purchases hidden except for about 150 apps/games I think someday I may want to download in the future. Maybe you're just skipping over it?

And why the heck hasn't appshopper been added back to the App Store yet?! That app is amazing.

It is a little time consuming to set up at first, but worth it once it's done! And I don't think you can add menus under menus, although I've never tried.

And just to let you all know about a little quirk to expect. When you update an app that's under a menu, you will have to either turn your phone off and back on or do a respring to be able to access it under the app because it removes it from the menu when you update the app. I usually do my updates at night so I can respring before I go to bed because I don't like respringing and messing with my usage times during the day. It's not a big issue, just wanted to let you all know before you invest time in setting up menus in case that's something that is a deal breaker for you. If you don't mind doing resprings during the day, turning your phone off and back on or updating your App Store apps at night then it should be no big deal for you.

Just another idea for a menu for you guys.

I get so much use out of this one. Since I hide all my apps with springtomize it also hides a lot of my settings options, so I have to go into safe mode to edit mail options and what not.
Have this menu set up for short hold of the sleep button.

Interesting...

The old version of 1Password Pro *is* available in my purchased list. AppShopper is not.

I upgraded 1Password despite the price tag, as I figured I might as well get it over with. But I hadn't yet loaded AppShopper onto the 5--I've been loading things as I need them rather than dumping it all onto the phone and deleting them later (or never). Looks like I screwed myself on that one. Damn.

How do you "hide" apps from the purchased list anyway? I can't believe how much crap there is to sift through.

I bet you dollar to donuts you never deleted it off your iTunes account like I did.
If I hadn't of done that, I'm sure it would still show up. Having done so though and now with the developer no longer supporting this older version (and instead is concentrating on his new app with the same title) it is deleted and gone forever from my account.

Can't you just add "General Settings" to that menu rather than booting in Safe Mode when you need to change something there?

In iTunes on the computer, go to iTunes Store, under quick links on the right side click "purchased". At the top of the screen click "apps". The ones you want to hide you need to hover over them and a little black x will pop up, click on it and it will hide it from your purchases.

On iOS 5 you used to be able to do it on the iPhone, I wish apple still allows that on iOS 6.

Nope. For example, since I have the mail app hidden, it also hides the mail settings in the settings app. So if I want to add an email account, change a signature, etc, I have to boot into safe mode or unhide the mail app. It's easier for me to just boot into safe mode to make a quick change rather than unhide the app, respring, make changes, hide app, respring.

Yes I'm sure it's not there. I've gone through it a few times with a fine tooth comb. I guess some people are lucky to have it while others are not. But I agree, why haven't they fixed the app to meet Apple's rules?!? AppShopper was by far the best "free/reduced" app shopper in the App Store. I loved that thing. I would flag all the apps I ever wanted but didn't want them badly enough to pay full price and that app would notify me whenever the prices changed. It was awesome. I still get the emails but its not nearly the same. Hopefully the updated version will be out soon!

Yup it's the exact same thing I experienced too! Strange we had the same thing happen while others were lucky enough to still have access to AppShopper. We can only hope they release a new version soon.

Awesome tip! I never knew you could hide purchases using iTunes. Since iOS6 removed this feature I thought it was gone forever. Thanks for sharing! Much appreciated.

If we hide purchases, can we unhide them later?

Yes, you can.

What I still don't understand is why we can't sync appshopper and 1password from our computer to our phones? I still have no clue why the apps that aren't in the App Store are being blocked from being synced to the phone. I feel bad for you guys that you can't download app shopper =/ really sucks. The other free/reduced apps just aren't as well put together as app shopper. The website is nice, but just so much easier to use the app. Hopefully they resubmit their app to apple sooner rather than later.

And no problem on the tip, hope it helps some of you all =) I know my previous purchases list was waaayy too long so I had to shorten it. When I realized I couldn't do it on my phone anymore I had to figure out how to do it on the computer lol

Yes, you can.

Good to know, thanks!

BTW, since when has people not been able to sync appshopper to their iPhones? I ask because I have it on my iPad 3 and mini, and now that I'm thinking about it, when the Evasi0n jailbreak came out, I restored both iPads to iOS 6.1 from iTunes, then jailbroke, then restored from backup, and when it was all done appshopper was right back on both my mini and 3. I've never installed appshopper on my iPhones, I guess because I felt the iPhone was too small to use that app comfortably on.

I couldn't on either 6.1 or 6.1.2 on the 4s and 5. Appshopper and 1password are the two main apps I had issues with. There were a few games I had problems with too. I just didn't even worry about them though because I hardly ever play games on my phone anymore. But when I was syncing them from my computer it looked like it was going through, but then would pop up with a message on my phone saying something along the lines of this app could not sync or something like that.

Luckily I still had them in my previous purchases list.

I think if you restore from backup that had AppShopper then it'll install pretty much every time until you restore from a backup which did not have AppShopper. I could be wrong but I think you have a higher chance of success installing that way. I never tried it though because I always restore as new and don't restore from backup. Otherwise your only options are to see if its in your purchased list in the App Store, sync it via the apps tab in iTunes, or try to install the IPA via iFunBox or something similar and unfortunately doesn't seem to work for anyone. But my guess is those 3 methods have a much lower success rate than if its already mixed in with a backup from which you restore.

Isn't this what people have been saying they can't do?

Hey, sorry for noob question here, but how do you get a black keyboard in widescreen/horizontal mode like that?
