This is nothing new a First world company profiting over the backs of Third world workers. It's not nice it's not fair but it's how life is.

If the First world paid a fair price for all it's food and products, we would be very POOR

BS. Wealth is not a finite pie divided amongst the world. Chinese laborers getting more wealth does not mean you must lose wealth. (if we paid a fair price for stuff, we wouldn't be quite the all-consuming, throw-away society we are)


Apple is one of the biggest and most profitable companies in the world because of customers like us. We have the power to pressure Apple to pressure Foxconn. But if we all shrug our shoulders and pass the buck like *LTD* does, nothing will change.

(but Stephen Fry shouldn't be the focus of this effort; Apple (and HP, et al) should be)

Agreed all should be held accountable and all should have a hand in fixing the conditions, not just one company or the other.
