A critique please...

Ok ... i think this project has been done for awhile now yet everyone keeps chiming in with their suggestions without actually knowing what it is they are critiquing?

The guys I make the posters for just send it out as a digital print, full bleed. Being a small band, they don't have the loot for the best paper/output.

I still think the design is great and very versatile from a designers perspective. This ain't a Walmart ad people.

"Playing Live" now makes the box look far too cluttered.

It really suited the space under BLEND in the original design.

It looked ok with the slightly paler background text & graphics, but I still think the original was fine in itself.

I like a design where you have to figure what it's for. It keeps you looking at the piece fo rlongs (provided it doesn't irritate the eye) so you take in the information much deeper...

We like things a little less obvious here in the uk. I don't like a discreet backdrop & single blatent image, I liked the way your eye was lead all over the thing. I didn't put the music thing together immediately, and I liked that.
