just finished the jailbreak process and dammm that was easy lol..lemme start playing around with cydia now haha

The first thing i would do is get mxtube, then hide or delete the youtube app as youll never need it again.

no clue what that is..i like the youtube app thou..do u have to pay for that new tethering app? or is it free..i relle want that

MX Tube is just like the youtube app except you can download the videos to the phone and you don't have to wait for the video to load every time you watch it. Pdanet is free on Cydia.

EDIT: nvm, i re-read the forum rules, and posting the 2.1 ipsw is not a violation of any of the rules.

I would if the link weren't to Apple's servers.

For example, if I upload the IPSW to my webserver and post a link, that is copyright infringement. Any link to a pre-pwned IPSW is also copyright infringement unless you find it for download on Apple's servers...

is there an app thru cydia to tether the iphone thru 3g or edge? im not sure how pdanet works..its saying u need to work it thru a router..if im in a car on my laptop, i want to connect it to my iphone and use the 3g or edge data for my laptop internet, what app does that?

edited- nevermind, im using pdanet right now and its great for tethering.

So are there still issues with iPhones getting bricked, or is that all in the past?

A dfu restore pretty much prevents bricking of the iPhone as far as I know...
