The VPN I normally run will no longer run on Yosemite does anyone know of one that will work ?
Private Internet Access has been working on Yosemite for me... https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/buy-vpn/

+1 for PIA working here as well. Also, great, reliable, good speeds, and cheap!
Latest betas of Viscosity and Tunnelblick work.
I'm talking about the PrivateInternetAccess software. Why should I have to pay for a service that comes with software, then have to pay for another piece of software to use what I already pay for?
The OP asked for VPN clients in general, and Tunnelblick is free.

vpngate.net using OS X's default VPN client.
Used that before. Doesn't work well in China ...
Understood, the couple of responses seemed to indicate that myprivateinternet worked just fine without extra steps.
All I can tell you is Private Internet Access works flawlessly on my iMac and MacBook Air since installing Yosemite. Haven't done anything special to make it work.
Cloak works fine for me on DP4.
I'm also using WiTopia but with the latest Viscosity client 1.4.10 and configured the access points manually.
I'm still confused.. why use a third party VPN client when OSX has one built in?
VPN services usually offer both OpenVPN and PPTP services.
PPTP has known vulnerabilities, so OpenVPN is often the preferred protocol. The OS X client however does not support OpenVPN, so a third party client is required.
It's not working for me, and by their own support site's comments, it's not supposed to work in Yosemite yet.
I emailed support and their reply said they wouldn't release an update that supports 10.10 until it is officially released.
Sorry if I'm skeptical of your claims given they even say it's not working with their app.
