Really!!???  What forum is it?

It was a funny website, but I'm still irked having sweated over clicking that link. I didn't care about the pic or the gay porn audio thing, I've got a sense of humor. The hacking I don't agree with, not funny at all. That was an intrusion. Therefore I will not name it. To them, no soup for you !

That's, uh, not hacking. Not even remotely close... it's not cracking, and it's not even script kiddy stuff.

What is it then ? At the very, very least, it hijacks applications without permission. It forges mail, does it not ? Please share with me something positive about that site. Do you condemn anything about what that website does ?

I have question though....isn't this 'somewhat' similar to what hackers do....cant something like this open up our file folders and do whatever it wants with it? I am just asking because I dont not really know how this thing works....just wondering if any modifications to this can get into our personal data.......
No

I have Firefox with noscript (blocks javascript) and flashblock (blocks flash  ), so all I got was the audio clip of the guy saying something about gay porno. Too lazy to try it in Safari.

Well, in IE I got the "I'm looking at gay porn" voice, and in firefox nasty images actually showed up and mail opened. No parrot, though. Strange thing was, my screen started flickering in the end when using firefox

Well, I tried it in FireFox. Bad idea lol. I got the gay porno sound clip and I also got some random pics of some lady (I think) spewing diarhea everywhere...kinda gross to say the least.

Glad I tried that

That'll teach me to use anything other than Safari.

For anyone who doesnt understand how that website is opening your programs, it is simply making requests to send email (OSX will open mail), connect to telnet (OSX will open terminal), send an instant message (opens ichat, or adium / fire)

Interesting. I'm relieved to hear that the website wasn't as harmful as I speculated it could be. Thanks to my Mac droogs for checking it out.
