Android tablets and the Touchpad are flops even though I think making WebOS open source was a smart move. The 3DS, even though it's turned around and become successful, could be considered a flop because of its poor release.

The 4S was not a flop and SIRI is one of the best things to have come out of the mobile market in recent years. FB Timelines just went live last week and most people like it.

Bloggers are retarded.

I think its a flop because of the pent up anticipation for apple to give us an iPhone that was updated more then what they actually did. I don't think anyone will disagree with the fact that hype was over the top prior to the announcement.

I understand that. The hype was ridiculous. But in the end, the customer didn't care, they bought anyway.

Fanboys. How else does a device that has only three changes (processor, camera, and Siri...which doesn't work 90% of the time) and no 4G sell so quickly

I think you got it backwards. Siri works 90% of the time. Yeah, it's not perfect but you are wrong. Also, maybe perhaps people realize 4G isn't in enough places yet? I certainly am not going to buy a 4G phone just to live in an area where there is very little to no coverage. For many people, 3G is still satisfactory. I think lots of people who got the 4S were regular people who have wanted an iPhone for quite a while and finally pulled the trigger. I know this phrase is used a lot but the fact is it is true, specs arent everything. The 4S sales just prove that. It should be obvious to you that those millions of people buying one are not all fanboys.

Maybe it works for you 90% of the time but I don't even use it anymore because it never works in my area. If I knew that SIRI would not work
most of the time I probably would not have bought the 4S and just stuck
with my 4. Having it process server side was honestly kind of dumb. Theoretically it should be better but in reality it mostly sucks.

Honestly, that article seems to exist purely to annoy EVERY different fanboy, that's an impressive feat. Useless article to be honest, wouldn't expect anything actually worthy from Yahoo.

That list sucks.

Where's Qwikster from Netflix? OMG!
How about iAd? At first, the concept sounded okay (sort of).
PlayBook
Google TV
3DS

To me the biggest fail are those crap Android "tablets" that you can get from eBay and Amazon for $80-100. According to the comments a lot of the system is in Chinese, the Android Market is not accessible and there are constant freezes. Not the best way to waste a c-note.

I am in no way a fanboy. But I don't see how you can call an Android Tablet crap, when you have never owned one. You are going on comments probably coming from Apple fanboys. If you want to talk about a product you should own it first.

Did you even read which type of Android tablet I'm referring to?
Try looking for MID 7" Android tablet on Amazon. Would you buy that crap?

BTW, I own an Android tablet - the B&N Nook Color. It's pretty damn awesome for what it can do and the price.

WP7, the 4S and the Facebook Timeline thing should not be on there at all.

Agreed. To be honest I think the only legitimate entries are 3D tech, and Android tablets (to an extent). The touchpad is actually great and sold out despite being discontinued. It's a Gizmodo-esque atricle at best.

Very True

A regular article for a tabloid. Gets a lot page views and that's what the Internet is all about. There are a lot bigger fails, for example Intel's 6-series chipset issue and AMD Bulldozer.

But if they hardly conducted a scientific and statistically accurate survey did they? As you point out, it gets hits.

I hope you are recovered from your pneumonia and are back at top form!

has it ever occurred to you that not everyone buying an iPhone 4s is upgrading from an iPhone 4? I would imagine, most of them are being bought by people upgrading from earlier iPhones, or other makes.
