A12(Z) iPad?

Just curious - As latest iPads come with the same A12Z chip as MacMini ‘test machines’, would it in theory be able to run MacOS?

I assume there are iPads running a substantially modified macOS in a lab somewhere in Cupertino. There probably have been for several years, just like there have been ARM-powered Macs. Maybe AMD-powered Macs. Maybe even Macs with discrete Nvidia GPUs.

I also believe that there is a zero percent chance that Apple will release an iPad that can run macOS.

My suggestion to you? Forget about it and move on with your life.
