A13 is actually better in single core benchmarks than A12Z from iPad Pro 2020, right?

So not bad at all, but RAM is my concern, specially for good web browsing experience in 4 years.

A13/3GB is a good mix. I have a iPad (2017) with A9/2GB. It's four years old and even if it had more RAM, it's the processor that's gating the user experience.

Gating?

You mean the processor is causing slowdowns much more than the RAM?

Good solid upgrade with the Ipad 9th Gen. A13, Centre stage and true tone. P3 Colour gamut would have been nice also, maybe on the next Gen.

Yes, I can feel the lag even with regular browsing. Speedometer 2.0 results in about 50 runs/minute compared to about 150 for A13.
