I hated it at first when I tried an early beta but now I have it on my iPhone 6S plus, iPhone 6, iPad mini 4, and iPad Pro 9.7 and don't mind at all and actually prefer over iOS 9.

Does so for me as well.

Works great for me until it doesn't. For some reason Sleep Cycle likes to dim the brightness on my display. I assume its a battery saving feature in case you aren't connected to power. But for whatever reason it overrides auto-brightness and my display is stuck on the lowest setting every morning, causing me to have to go in and increase it via CC. Admittedly, this just started happening in iOS 10 and may be fixed via an update.

Hate the frosty white background. It looks like I have some accessibility setting enabled or like it's a beta.

Also hate how the music controls are on a second page so I have to swipe to control my music now every time.

Yeah, the new notifications and other backgrounds seem to make iOS even brighter/lighter than before (all while many have been hoping and waiting for a dark mode).

If you're listening to music, it should come up as the first card by default. It also remembers the last card you were using, so for me it usually stays on music as that's what I use CC for most.

I'm really loving the new Cards, control centre and notification centre.

It's so good to have an actual UI again instead of just blobs of blur with pastel coloured text over the top.

The Control Centre is now super clean, and much less cluttered. I love it so much more than the old. I think it's better that the music controls are hidden away, I listen to a lot of music and only use the Music app on the controls on the lock screen. I never used the control centre version.

The new widgets screen is great and I love Rich Notifications.

And again in the minority when I say this music app is much better than the old.

My main complaint is that I wish the stupid childish iMessage options would stay hidden. You swipe left so they hide, then go into another message and they are back. Same thing when you close and reopen the app.

For me, this is the best and most exciting iOS update in a long time. I mainly happy with the visual improvements, it's almost starting to look like a decent OS again.

I don't like the fact that I am unable to delete the search/widget screen completely. Yea I can delete all the widgets But that dam screen is still there with the search bar and the date.

Only shows up if you swipe right basically on the home screen essentially (or in notification center), and even then if it's empty just gives you the date basically.

Not for me. It's there when I swipe right, while the phone is unlocked and I hate it. I can't stand having
More than one screen.

Well, that screen has been there in one shape or another for quite a while with iOS.

Once again, not for me. I had never seen that screen until iOS 10.
How so? It was there in iOS 9 and 8 and 7 and before that as well. That part isn't new--about a screen being there to the left of the home screen--and hasn't changed (aside from what content can be on that screen).

I don't know how. All I know is that this is my first time seeing it. I have always had the ONE screen with my apps. And that's it!

Well, all I can say is that the screen is there in previous iOS versions as well, so even if you didn't upgrade or went back to what you had before you'd more than likely still have that screen there.

Why am I not able to get rid of it?

My main issue is why the enlargment of the photo album and song icons and WHY THE HECK did they get rid of the "slide to open" option... my iPhone 6s' home button already shifts when I push it down, I loved just pressing the power button and tapping my finger to unlock it. But now I am forced to click on my already problematic home button. This is a feature I think apple didn't think too far ahead about, (as I can see many people going to an apple store with broken home buttons from being used 4x more now.)
*sorry first world problem, but man I really miss the slide to open option. I hope Apple maybe brings that back somehow.

Interesting. Even for pandora and other apps, or only for the default music app?
[doublepost=1473838363][/doublepost]They should move airplay and airdrop to the second card, and music back to the main card. Those have to be less used than music controls.

I swear Apple has moved away from intelligent UI designers to trendy fashionable ones.

Basically it seems that they probably did it to de-clutter an already busy Control Center where separated different groups of functionalities.

And what they managed is to add additional clutter functionally. There is 50 % chance you're on a wrong card (provided you don't have HomeKit), where there was 0 % chance before.

Not sure about 3rd party apps, as I use Apple Music. But audio through Safari will bring up the music controls card by default as well. Again, it also comes up for me if its the last thing I was using.

I disagree with your idea that the music controls should be back on the main screen. I primarily use my phone as a music player and it has made literally zero difference in the way I operate the device. It doesn't matter that they're separated out, as long as the software is smart enough to bring the relevant one up first. I like having the Music controls on their own page with room for the AirPlay stuff, which I use daily. It's not just for "trendy fashionable" people.

lol. You like it because it makes No difference.

It actually does matter since it doesn't bring it up for pandora and third party music apps.

And it is just poor UI design, axiomatically.

And you miss my point about moving towards trends and fashion as opposed to smart design. I am not saying that is trendy design. I am saying they hired a bunch of trendy designers at the cost of smart designers.

Either way, the solution is to clearly allow us to customize the cards. But if we can't, music should be on the first page with the most used features. Even if you use airplay a lot, I guarantee you that most people use music more often.

I like most of the new iOS 10 features, but the UI is getting bloated just look at the Night Shift Button or the Music app. But the real problem I have is with Notification Center.

The lack of grouping/clustering/sort by app is a problem, so much wasted space. But at least I can make sure I know the name of the app, because it's repeated over and over and over...

This is the reason I don't want to upgrade to iOS 10 at least for now. The notification center is bad and ugly compared to iOS 9 :(
