how come you cannot buy a original (or any other) sleeves for the MBA at the retail stores ?

this book is made to be ultra portable, but you have no sleeve/bag for it.

Are the existing mini-ethernet cables the same as used by the MBA?

CompUSA has those in stock and for 25% off...

Does anyone have any experience regarding which bag would protect best against dents?

I would greatly appreciate any input, as I want to preserve my MBA's great looks!

Thanks in advance.

I got the Waterford sleeve (middle link), and, though I don't have my MBA yet, it seems like it'll work great! It's very sleek, but the padding looks heavy and durable. The material and the construction are of very high quality. It also came very quickly with a personalized note. I'd definitely recommend it.

I am thinking of ordering this sleeve, it looks great..

I looked at every possible sleeve for the MBA, but nothing looks as good as this one.. also the Belkin, but thats still coming soon..

But of course the look is not everything, so I need advice if this will be good enough to protect the MBA as i dont have any experience regarding laptop sleeves or bags..

So if i put it in that sleeve will it be safe to just carry it from its handle or put it in any backbag?

Good for you, but don't you think that it will fit the MacBook better than MacBook Air height wise?

I mean both got same length & Width but not height.. so what do u think about that? cuz thats what is stopping me from ordering!

Can you post real image of it please :)

I was always thinking about getting a Crumpler School Hymn sleeve for a laptop if I ever got one, but now that I'm getting an Air, I wonder if it would fit? Or do I wait to see if Crumpler makes a snarkily-named slim School Hymn for it?

So CA
the waterfield case feels great, better than any case i've felt or dealt with. i would highly reccomend it to you all.

I agree. I have the WaterField MBA Sleeve. Totally great.

I also ordered the piggyback pouch, and rings to attach a shoulder strap.

My MBA arrived yesterday, and love it. Exceeded my expectations.

I'm carrying the MBA in it's WF sleeve, all over. My wife wants me to not sleep with it. She says it's too wierd. But you gays understand. :):)

Yes, I got the Vertigo Combo yesterday as well for my Macbook Air. Love them. Green Suede as well :)

I got a Waterfield sleeve, it's here and waiting for my "airhead" machine to arrive. I decided to get the piggyback option for the sleeve so I can cart some of the gear if I actually need it but don't want to bother with a full case operation for an afternoon's outing.

And, I splurged and finally got Waterfield's Cozmo medium size bag as well. I can either put the sleeved MBA or a 15" powerbook (in its own sleeve) in there, plus plenty gear.

I love the Waterfield cases. For my 12"G4 PB I have the Vertigo case with the green suede, it is beautiful and easy to find stuff inside with the gold lining. Carries great, the Waterfield sleeve that I got for the 12" pb fits it perfectly and the whole thing slides into the Vertigo case with room for other gear.

They are so nicely made, well worth the bucks in my opinion.
