Sadly, my Photo Booth application got deleted from my Mac. I didn't realize that deleting the shortcut for Photo Booth (while trying to clear my desktop) would delete the application. Does anyone know how or if I can get it back?
you can get it back by first downloading a combo update for the version you have. if you have Sierra you could download it from here: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1918?locale=en_US
then you need to verify the package until you're left with the .pkg file. drag that to the desktop. also make a new folder on the desktop named 'Sierra'. open terminal and enter this command: pkgutil --expand (drag and drop the .pkg file to terminal first and then drag and drop the Sierra folder next) after uploading the folder backspace and add /Sierra. after the process of extracting your package, open your Sierra folder and you should see another folder named Sierra. open it and right click the Sierra combo package file (.pkg) and click show package contents. you should see a file named payload. rename it and add the .zip extension and extract it. click applications and see photo booth
