ADB cable

I recently found an apple classic computer in the garbage, the keyboard was with it but not the ADB cable.

I'm looking to connect the keyboard, can I just get a 4c mini-din male to male cable in place of an adb cable?

If you are talking about S-Video cables. They are risky. Some tie the audio negatives together and short out the keyboard. Proper ADB cables are $15 on eBay.

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't referring to s-video in particular. I can buy a male to male 4c mini din. I found out about s-video after I posted the message.

I guess I can check an s-video cable to make sure none of the pins are shorted before using one. I probably have a few left over.
