Adding 1TB of SATA3 SSD with Apricorn and Highpoint RAID to my 2009 MP

Based on your post, I plan to get the Highpoint 2720SGL and insert it into the 16x PCIe slot on my 2009 Mac Pro (to create an SSD raid), and also to return the Apricorn Velocity Solo x2 card I just purchased and plug my SSD (boot) drive directly into an SATA 2 connector instead. Thanks for the post.
