For me, all CS5 Suite programs are working on 10.10. After Effects, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Need the new Java Runtime install. Very easy, after that no problems. :)

Thank you!! That's what I needed to hear. I use mostly photoshop, illustrator, after effects and indesign. Does indesign work for you as well?

File Sharing Adobe files Mac to Mac problems with Yosemite

I think Adobe has a file sharing issue with Yosemite. We share files at work from Mac to Mac. We all have Yosemite now. We can "save as" and create a new document in the shared folder, however, when we make changes, we cannot save over it. It tells us the file is "currently in use" and to rename it. As a graphic designer I save a lot and I don't want to have multiple saved files of the same design. What makes it worse is we can't delete the old file names as it's still "currently in use" - This only happens with Adobe products. Everything works fine with other non adobe apps. We're running off CS6. Anyone have the same issue?.

A couple of people I know using After Effects CS5.5 say it crashes repeatedly on Yosemite 10.10.1 when they click on any eyedropper tool. Sounds pretty fatal.

Can any other AE users here confirm this?

Thanks.

I'm using CC 2014 but it's very similar to CS6. I'm having an issue where mouse clicks get stuck (you release the button but Photoshop thinks you haven't released it). Photoshop also crashes every time I create a new document.

So no, I wouldn't upgrade!

new machine with yosemite, cs6 run ok?

I've been running very old adobe software on a very old machine and am finally updating everything but now creative cloud is in the mix.

I'd like to buy CS6 instead of going with a subscription but I'm nervous about laying down that money after reading some of the trouble yosemite users are having.

So on a new machine with yosemite, CS6 or start in with Creative Cloud?
