Just to be clear Google doesn't sell data, they sell ads.
Wrong.
They sell your data to advertisers....

You're confusing an opinion with an accusation. You are completely and totally wrong.

And if you honestly believe Apple isn't guilty of everything you despise about Google, I have a bridge to sell you.
.... so said the owner of a Google's phone.
Google was proven guilty several times....
You have it backwards. I am a long time Google user who is happy with my Samsung. My last phone was an iPhone 6 and I much prefer the S6. I see no reason to hate Google. They are not the big bad monster you assume they are.
They are.

Android User here. You should of used the 6p and instead of the priv choose another flagship as BlackBerry is dead. Maybe the OnePlus 2 if you can get an invite. I've owned IOS devices before but switched to Android for the freedom to do whatever I want for example custom roms, sound mods, changing the CPU governor etc... However Android because of this is not as stable or as simple as IOS. I'm using an HTC One M8 and I've owned a Itouch 5 and tried out the IPhone 5, IPhone 6+ and IPhone 6s+. I've also tried windows phone. The way I look at it they all have there place and are for different types of people. No reason to Hate.

Not sure what they are teaching in Italy these days, but every tech company, Apple included, uses data mining to improve its experience. The difference is, Google is good at improving your experience, whereas Apple still thinks iCloud mail is a viable service. So you are actually having your data mined and you're getting a worse experience for it.

Do us all a favor, take your Alex Jones nonsense back over to the iPhone forum and let us discuss what we please about our superior experience.

Image resolution 646 x 482.

Actual Nexus 5x photo is a ton higher than that. Crop job. This should be enough to close the thread.

Obviously it was a crop to highlight the problem.

I agree with the ergonomics part... but at the end of the day it is probably the sleekest design/best looking phone on the market right now. The Note5 is a more ergonomic feel, but lacks the edge display. As far as TouchWiz goes, I don't really see why you had all of these problems. I also think the edge software feature sucks... that's why I disabled it and use SwipePad instead which is actually useful. That's the cool part about Android, there are so many apps out there that actually modify the way the user uses the OS. Apple does not allow this in their App store in any meaningful way. I'm glad you're back in your comfort zone, Android is not for everybody.

Yes, I would have tried the Note 5 but thanks to Samsung's erratic policy its not available in Germany. I
agree the Edge does look nice, especially the gold one, however they decided to only sell the 32GB version
over here (whereas you can get the 64GB in titanium silver). Not sure what they were thinking. Camera
is really impressive too.

You're not addressing me, but not sure why this was moved to the Android forum, it wasn't meant as flamebait.

Nice supporting evidence you got there.

It is in googles best interest to protect the data they collect. At least that is the better long term strategy surely. :)

If Google was so evil I would think that scroogled campaign would be working and still around.

It doesn't appear you wasted any time on this whatsoever because you obviously didn't understand what I'm saying but maybe I'm expecting too much of someone who doesn't even seem to be able to operate his key fob.
Right it wasn't supposed to be flame bait is was supposed to be a circle jerk.

Ok your cropped pic just proved you aren't that great at taking photos or just want to prove a point. I've seen tons of awesome pics from 6P and 5X so your one example that you could easily take a bad picture on purpose proves nothing.

Yes the point I was making is that camera is an unreliable POS, and the awful image stabilization in videos supports my assesment.

No, it was meant as a warning for people that get pisses off at Apple regularly and who contemplate ditching Apple in favour of Android that the grass isn't always greener on the other side, hence my posting this in the iPhone forum. If you're happy using inferior crap, good for you.

So let me get this right. The bad image stabilization in VIDEOS proves your point that the camera takes horrible PHOTOS? And your best example is a tight crop of a bad picture in general taken in bad photo taking conditions (Snow).
