Tell you what, do this. Do a quick search regarding your question and see how many threads pop up. If you get any less than four or five, I have no problems saying my bad and apologizing to you. If I am correct, how about take the two pieces of advice I've given you and then try them for the next time?

You sound like an angry, disgruntled with life sad sad man. You seem utterly out of control. Read his first post, which is not edited, original content

"First off sorry this is a repeat of countless other similar threads, I could just do with your opinion that is all!"

Take your own advice, and learn from what others say, for example.

1) Trolling is childish.
2) You are not being helpful, Mr. All Knowing Adult, by degrading.
3) You in fact, are not always correct, and live in a world where people interact with each other, hopefully like a sensible humane people.

I'll make this as clear as possible and go as slow as possible for comprehension purposes.

The OP has every right to post what he or she wants. This is a public forum however, with that comes a bit of responsibility such as maybe using the search feature to find a similar topic already in progress. There are tons of them detailing what the OP is looking for. Just today I saw six or seven discussion the resolution with the iPad to so say there are none, is disingenuous at best and a straight up lie at worse. As this is a public forum, I too have a right to express my displeasure at the constant repeat threads about the same thing over and over and over. Again, there are a ton of these as well. My suggestion to the OP that he or she uses the search feature was meant to: 1. Save the creation of repeat threads with topics that have been discussed over and over, and 2. To allow him to read through some threads where others have undoubtedly answered or attempted to answer his or her questions. Just because I do not agree with the OP is not tantamount to condescension. I am expressing my views and also expressing those of others in this forum who too are tired of repeat threads created by people to lazy to do a little work and use the search function. Someone wrote in an earlier thread that these continued repeat threads are sapping the interest in MR as a place to go for info, rumors and tips because we have to wade through weeds just to find the nuggets of info that are useful. Like others have said, they are finding it harder and harder to come to MR as it is becoming the Facebook of the tech-bloggin world with post and info that is virtually useless. I would gladly pay a small monthly fee where some of the forums were more aggressively moderated and the info parsed before it was released. This would retain a more apt following and weed out the guys who are bored and feel they need to post something. As an aside, I offered the OP advice and even said that if I was wrong I would be more than happy to apologize so your comments are MOOT....and I suggest you go back and read it all and not cherry pick just to suit your myopic point of view.

Secondly, I doubt the next revision will contain a resolution bump. Spec bump (especially more ram) and a camera are more likely. Maybe even an SD slot.

After all those Camera Connection Kit sold, they would add an SD slot? I don't think so..

Anyway, the new iPad could come in the first quarter of 2011, so if you can wait, wait.

All of that I completely agree with, and have the same ill feelings towards such forums. MR is a perfect example of this. I can sympathize there. You do realize though that the first thing you said in this thread was...

"Actually I find it sad that a grown adult needs the approval of others to spend his or her own money."

Nothing to do with searching rather a rude, unnecessary, unhelpful comment. Had you said, "Please search the forums a little deeper, here are some suggestions... etc." for example, look at the second post.

You need to open up your eyes a little bit. You might have a good vocabulary, or be well versed in who knows what. But your people skills are not appreciated around here.

Firstly, periods are your friends.

Secondly, I doubt the next revision will contain a resolution bump. Spec bump (especially more ram) and a camera are more likely. Maybe even an SD slot.

I say if you have no need for a webcam, buy now.

I agree with the Webcam point, however, I would wait for the extra RAM in the next iPad in 3 months. The way companys are frantically developing apps for the iPad, memory will be the big deal. It will surely have 512 standard. I'm out on a limb on this, but with the DRAMATIC drop in Flash prices one could conceive a 1 gb version. Of course this ram is soldered onto the board unlike modules, so it is more expensive at a cost factor to Apple.

Wait for the 512 RAM. Gonna be a big deal in 6m. :apple:

Sorry for the delay in responding to you.

I realize my first post was a bit harsh. Probably due to the 10000 similar thread burnout. For this, my bad, but then again you can see where this burnout and saturation comes from. I say that the OP's post was simply the wrong place at the wrong time for me. However he is incredibly lucky as there are others who would have hammered him even harder than me. I however will admit when I am wrong and have gone over the top.
