Really? At the UK price, that means it will have some serious competition from the "bigger" dSLR's. A 400D is only £40 more expensive.

Just had a look on Jacobs, they don't have a store in Leeds, but there is one in Sheffield and Hull, both of which are close enough to go and have a look at.

I know this is sorta subjective, but how do Pentax/Olympus lenses compare?

With respect to the lenses, I can tell you this: Pentax will deliver 3 supersonic lenses in 2007 (maybe also weather-sealed). Olympus does not have ultrasonic lenses

The rumour is that Olympus will have ultrasonic motors in some lenses in 2007 but nothing has been confirmed. Supposedly, a lot of things are coming. I'll let you know when I get my iPhone.
