To all give AmazingRobbie a little slack. He's been through a lot trying to get this system together with the most cost effective means possible and waste money. He isn't as computer savvy as most of us so when throwing all this data at him it just confuses and frustrates him even more. Please be patient and just give him base facts that help him make the right decision. I've worked with him somewhat on what to choose for a system and for someone who isn't really in the know it's all very confusing and frustrating. Let's face it there are people out there that just throw their 2 cents in and steer people the wrong way. AmazingRobbie most people on this board are very knowledgable and trustworthy and wouldn't steer you wrong. I know it's a lot to take in all at once. Bottom line is that you can't power that video card with the current cable you have. You need to purchase the one that crjackson2134 provided the link to or one just like it. Where did you get the video card from? Did you get it from the seller I told you about?

No, it was purchased from Amazon and mailed to the seller to install. They've been extremely helpful on their end and even though they wired it to what they thought would be sufficient, its no matter to me if I fix it before actually having any damage. The box was very very clean. More than expected and I got what I feel was a very reasonable deal.

I didn't end up getting a monitor yet because I din't want to skimp out onit, so I'm using an old Acer hand-me-down for now, but the box is considerably faster than my current 2011 iMac. So much faster. I can not wait to get that power cable so I can start using it. It exported the Alex4D BruceX.xml 5K test in about 16 seconds at ProRes 422, which took over a minute on my iMac. To me that's astonishing.

Thanks for your help with everything while making the decision. And it's alright, most people here give input to conversations with a very high level of knowledge and I knew that. I should have toned my frustration down a little. I think everything's good now...
