That is too bad... I am expecting an actual event in October IF they're not updated tomorrow.
It is possible the iTV will be updated tomorrow. And the smaller iPad and MBA will either be updated with those or announced with those or have their own event, and could even be iTV with them if it's not announced tomorrow. Why wouldn't Apple want to announce and introduce all three of those items? I think a quiet update is not going to happen, because all three will be new/redesigned items.
