AirDrop Not Auto-Accepting

AirDrop on my Mac has stopped auto-accepting drops from my iPhone and now requires I approve them each time. I thought it was suppose to accept them from your own devices if signed in from the same iCloud account? It certainly use to.

Suggestions on how to remedy this?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm having the same problem. Were you able to fix the issue?

Started working again for me after a system update. Sorry I don't have a better solution.

Thanks for your reply. My 2016 Macbook is still on High Sierra. Maybe it's time to install Mojave.
