iPhone 8/Plus Airdrop not working with iPhone 8 Plus

Has anyone else been having issues with using Airdrop with the new iPhone 8 plus? I've gone through all the steps that anyone has posted to resolve (most from earlier iOS versions and Phone versions) . I'm still able to airdrop from iPad (running iOS11) to Macbook Pro and MacMini and vice versa, but none of my other devices even recognize my iPhone 8 plus and none of my friends Phones see my phone either.
